Knowing Your Pet’s Health

Responsible and Caring Pet Owners
Should Know Their Pet’s Health

Our pets can’t tell us when they aren’t feeling well. It’s our responsibility as pet owners to know what is normal and what is not normal for our pets. A “snout-to-tail” assessment will help.

We recommend that you perform this wellness assessment once a week. Start at the snout and work your way back to the tip of the tail. Note anything out of the ordinary: watery eyes, sensitive ears, unusual growths on the body, etc. You should also check vitals: temperature, pulse rate, capillary refill in the gum area.

This routine examination could save your pet’s life. It can also be a bonding experience for you and your pet.

Knowing your Pet’s Health Guide” is a 20 page illustrated guide that walks you through this process step by step.
